wwwwwoooooooooowwwwwwww, easily one of the best weeks of my life! so whenever it was that i went snowboarding with rachel a while back, I mentioned to her about how i really wished i could get involved with a more serious band like stockholm.  Well on like wednesday she comes up to me and says that she told taylor about me and that they were interested having me jam with them.  They came to the dance on friday and I met taylor and kyle. cool kids. we hung out and jammed sunday and everything is peachy!  That would have made my week right there but, thursday night at tryouts for the avalanche i made a sick save on josh saball. just a one timer out of no where. so then on Monday i had a semi-solid tryout, and made the midget major preseason team.  So SICK!  so now i've just been floating all week and nothing can go wrong.  Even the mountain dew i got tonight on the way back from training had a free song on it.  Yeah i'm so cool that this is all i have to write about in my xanga.

so check out the band:

berlin game on saturday. still bitter. don't like berlin very much, but i got to play so i can't complain.  today i went over to okeefe's for a little jam session. it was a good time. but i'm tired of just jamming with people. i want to get some stuff recorded and out there.  i'm considering a solo project but feel that i lack the guitar/singing skills nesicary to undergo such a task. i write pretty bad lyrics too. if it wasn't for bright eyes i dunno if i would even be considering this, but seeing how he can make "bad" music cool and just how it doesn't matter how it sounds. yeah i'll definatley record something.  if it sounds good i'll make a purevolume site for it, then write more stuff, put together a demo album, mail it to a label get rich and tour the country, the usual gig. or it will probably sound bad and i'll just listen to it by myself every night and try and fix it. then in like a week i'll get sick of it, record over it and continue the process of writing my bad music. kind of like this bad blog

today was great, ok well it wasn't but it's over at least. midterms are no fun and then doing nothing but solid sprints at practice doesn't make it better.  i can't believe laura is going to leave brady. she's so cool, study hall is never going to be the same.  Life will go on. Our band has a couple songs now, but we still don't practice very much. Sean and chris(s)  (plural of chris) want to record and gig and everything.  I still think we need practice and that they're taking things a little too fast.  I mean we don't suck, but if we want to keep our dignity we need to really rock before we can lay anything down on tape, cd, purevolume or whatever.  It's possible if could actually practice regularly but with everyone so scattered it's hard. damn barnstead

ok, january 4th was my birthday, so thanks to everyone who wished me a happy birthday and such. don't think i'm going to have any cool party or anything. I think there's just too many people i would want to invite, and no one would want to come out to barnstead anyways. Well i guess we're going on a family trip to washington state in june...not sure how thrilled I am about that yet but i've never been there before. ... tired of writing in this thing so i'm going to hopefully find some better background music

new years was pretty cool. or new year...it doesn't make sense to have it plural and i have no idea if the s is supposed to be there or not.  First i went ice skating with jessi, kate, emily, charissa, and mallory. We went to teen skate at tri-town. there were these "ghetto" kids with their "skanky 8th grade g/fs"lol and from there i went to ring in the new year at the drolets. It was pretty cool. Seeing some more of my old friends and stuff.  Yesterday I went with Vanessa to see meet the fockers and go out to lunch. Then i went over to the fougere's with my family for dinner.  It was good but i was already full from lunch since we ate at like 3 or something. Anyways I saw the movie "Garden State" and it is definatley one of the best movies I have ever seen. I don't really know why, but it just seems so cool to me.  so this is the last day of my vacation and i'm doing absolutley nothing.  well it was fun while it lasted.
